Leveraging Instagram and Twitter is a great way for a brand to drive personal engagement with consumers and Marc Jacobs is mastering it like no one else right now.
On 15th of August MJ Fragrances opened a 3 day pop up shop called Daisy Marc Jacobs Tweet Shop in Covent Garden. The idea was to promote Daisy fragrances by creating a sense of community among enthusiasts by exchanging tweets for treats.
This thoughtful planned marketing, visual merchandising and excellent customer service made our shopping/tweeting experiences unforgettable. In this tiny tweet shop we had access to MJ nail bar, free internet, coffee, macaroons, flowers, photo booth, Vine booth, great music and what’s the best, everyone was able to exchange a tweet using hashtag #MJDaisyChain for one of their Daisy fragrances; Daisy, Daisy Eau So Fresh and Daisy Dream. But that’s not all, by the end of each day they have awarded the best tweeter with Marc by Marc Jacobs handbag.
I was absolutely excited about the whole concept and there was no way I’d miss it. Well, it turned out it was my #luckyday as I got a flower, perfume and a handbag.
